I had the idea to create a newsletter after I realized that I had no way to truly keep in touch with everyone on a wider scale. After bouncing ideas off of one of my friends, I came up with the newsletter and spent more hours than I want to admit doing my research and trying to find the perfect user-friendly (read: not very sophisticated or complicated) CRM for my business. I found the perfect one after countless hours and voila! Now I have a newsletter! I'm still figuring things out with how to write them and not feel absolutely lost and hopeless when it comes to technology like that, but it's looking to be something I can keep up with on a busy schedule!
